Rayax Energy is actively involved in Component A and Component C of the PM KUSUM scheme.

Component A focuses on the development of grid-connected solar power plants up to 2 MW capacity on barren or cultivable land, allowing farmers and landowners to generate income by selling power to DISCOMs.

Component C involves the solarization of existing grid-connected agricultural pumps, enabling farmers to use solar power during the day and reduce dependence on conventional electricity.

Rayax Energy provides end-to-end services including project design, EPC execution, grid interconnection, regulatory coordination, and long-term operations & maintenance.

The PM Kusum yojana was launched in March 2019 by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and has been extended up to March 2026.

Registration is done through your state's PM Kusum or DISCOM portal using Aadhaar, land records and bank details. Rayax Energy can complete the online registration with you and guide the full process.

Costs depend on capacity and component. Solar pumps range roughly from Rs.2 lakh (3 HP) to Rs.6 lakh (10 HP) before subsidy, while Component A plant costs are project-based. With up to 60% subsidy, the farmer's share is much lower.
