Solar Sales Engineer
LOCATION
Rajasthan, Haryana, Madya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh
Job Purpose
Support solar sales and business development by providing technical expertise, site assessments, system design inputs, and assisting in converting leads into successful solar projects across residential, C&I, and government schemes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Pre-Sales Support
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Prepare preliminary system designs, BOMs, and energy generation estimates.
- Support sales team during client meetings with technical presentations and clarifications.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with design, EPC, and procurement teams for accurate proposals.
- Assist in preparation of technical documentation for tenders and government schemes.
Customer Engagement
- Explain technical aspects, benefits, and ROI to customers.
- Provide post-sale technical support during execution and commissioning.
Key Requirements
Education:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy
Experience:
- 1–4 years in solar sales engineering or project support
Skills:
- Solar PV system knowledge
- AutoCAD, PVsyst (preferred)
- Good communication and field coordination skills
